There are wireless transmitters capable of sending AV signals up to 300 meters from the installation point of the transmitter. For the superior quality of transmission and stability in performance, most transmitters use the 2.4GHz frequency. These signals can travel effortlessly through the obstacles like walls and trees.

Most Wireless video transmitters allow up to four cameras to be installed on location. You can select the particular receiver from which you wish to view the video. The transmitters can support different number of channels. 4 and 8 channels are the commonly supported numbers. The high power transmitters can transmit signals to very long distances and usually have panel directional antennas fitted to the device for better transmission. These transmitters can work with PAL or NTSC wired cameras alike.
